Plato's Extra Virgin California Olive Oils
Hello and welcome to www.PlatosOliveOil.com.  We're a small company that
began in California in 2010. My father loves hot peppers. He often grew his own
and infused olive oils with them, which our friends and family would rave about.
One day we ran out of oil and I tried to buy something similar, but there weren't
any decent quality products available. So we started this company to share our
love of good California olive oil and spicy foods. We searched for over a year to
find the highest quality California olive oils that we can offer at reasonable prices.
I'm confident that our oils are the BEST products at these prices, and I would like
to invite you to try them today.

Our oils are fresh, with a richness of fruity
and olive flavors. I have not yet found a
better oil for dipping bread, drizzling over
pasta with Parmesan cheese, making a
Margherita style pizza or using on salads.
If you want to try something spicy try our
habanero olive oil and use it on anything.
Olive oil pairs well with just about every
food. We've tasted many olive oils and this
is as good as it gets.

About the company:

I'm Michael von Plato and it's my voice that narrates this page. Our habanero infused olive oil is based on my father's experiments with the various hot peppers he has grown. A quick snap shot about myself: I'm a medical student and entrepreneur who loves food. From the flavors and experiences that foods provide all the way down to the chemical properties and health effects of various molecules. During my free time I take a strong interest in making the best tasting foods that are also healthy.

Tyler Gugliotta is our executive chef, and he is responsible for most of our published recipes. Chef Tyler comes from a family of many chefs and food enthusiasts. If you ask Tyler how long he has been cooking, he would tell you that he's been cooking his entire life. Chef Tyler is currently involved in restaurants in the South Bay Beach Cities of Los Angeles where we both live.
